Walk into a traditional jewelry store and you're paying a premium that has very little to do with the stone in front of you — retail overhead, generations of middlemen, and a scarcity story that doesn't quite hold up under modern conditions.
Lab-grown diamonds offer the same chemistry, the same hardness, and the same IGI / GIA certification — but without the markup or the environmental cost. We started Grown Gem so a client buying a 2-carat solitaire could spend her budget on the cut and the setting, not on a hundred-year-old supply chain.

How it works
From lab to your jewelry box.
Carbon, conditions, time
A diamond seed is exposed to controlled heat and pressure — the same conditions that form mined diamonds underground, just above ground. Weeks instead of millennia.
Cut & independent grading
Master cutters shape and polish each rough. The finished stone is sent to IGI or GIA for the same 4 Cs grading mined diamonds receive. The lab report ships with it.
Set, insured, delivered
We hand-set into your chosen piece (or a bespoke design), insure the package fully, and ship signature-required. Tracked end-to-end.
